Church prayer bulletin
August 2004
Please place the following weekly prayer requests in your church bulletins on the designated Sunday, and if possible pray about the need during that same service. We also encourage the entire church to follow the weekly pastor/church prayer schedule of the senior pastor.

August 1
Missions trip to Panama!
A number of youth and adults from Forest Grove Community Church are on a missions trip to Panama. Pray for Pastor Kevin and Luanne Wiens as they give leadership. Also, please pray for the group’s safety as they return on Thursday.
August 8
Leadership Summit 2004
The Willow Creek Leadership Summit 2004 takes place in Saskatoon on Thursday to Saturday. Pray that this might be a great refreshing and learning experience for those who attend.
MB Bible Camps
Continue to pray for the ministry that takes place at our two Bible Camps at Redberry and West Bank.
August 15
New small groups minister at West Portal
David and Mel Berg begin their ministry this week at West Portal Church in Saskatoon as Small Groups Minister. Pray for God's rich blessing on their ministry. Pray that David will have significant input into the lives and ministries of the Small Group Leaders.
August 22
New associate pastor at Parliament Community Church
Brian and Aimee Wiens begin their ministry this week as Associate Pastor at Parliament Community Church in Regina. Pray that God will bless Brian and Aimee as they seek to help the congregation move out from within the walls of the church and into the community.
August 29
New lead pastor at Hepburn MB Church
Today is a highlight for the Hepburn MB Church as Jeff and Connie Peters are commissioned as Lead Pastor Couple. Celebrate in praise to God for this provision and pray for guidance and strength as Jeff and Connie give pastoral leadership to the church.
Bethany students arrive
This week students arrive at Bethany College. Pray that each student will experience a personal encounter with God throughout this school year. Praise God for a great faculty and staff.
