Church prayer bulletin

Please place the following weekly prayer requests in your church bulletins on the designated Sunday, and if possible pray about the need during that same service. We also encourage the entire church to follow the weekly pastor/church prayer schedule of the senior pastor.

September 5
Living Hope takes it outside!
Pray for the congregation at Living Hope Church as they join with four other Saskatoon North End Churches for an outdoor Community Service today. This will be the first "Sunday Morning Service" for Living Hope Church which usually meets at 5:00 p.m. on Sundays. Pray for Pastor Dwayne Harms as he speaks and also that this service will be a positive witness to the city.

“Kick-off” Sunday
Today is "Kick Off Sunday" with many churches introducing their fall program. Pray that many people will be attracted, not just to our churches but indeed to Christ through these events.
Forest Grove’s 40th anniversary
Forest Grove Community Church in Saskatoon is celebrating 40 years of ministry today. Praise the Lord with and for that congregation.
New associate pastor couple at Parliament Community Church!
Praise the Lord for the provision of a number of new pastors. Pray for Brian and Aimee Wiens as they are commissioned today as Associate Pastor Couple at Parliament Community Church in Regina.

New pastor couple for Meadow Lake!
Today is a great day of celebration for Northwest Community Church in Meadow Lake as they commission their new lead Pastoral Couple, Dan and Kathy Stobbe. Pray that the ministry of the Stobbes together with that of the congregation will make a great impact upon their community.
“Women in Ministry Leadership” study conference
Pray for Doug Heidebrecht as he leads our Provincial Bible Study Conference this Saturday on the topic "Women in Ministry Leadership". Pray that this might not become a divisive issue in our Canadian MB Conference.

“Living Creatively With Stress” workshop
This Thursday, Pastoral Leaders will gather at MCC Saskatchewan in Saskatoon for a workshop on the topic "Living Creatively With Stress". Pray that this workshop will help equip Pastors not to be discouraged because of stress, not to be in denial when under stress, but rather to face stress courageously and creatively.
