Church prayer bulletin

December 2004

Please place the following weekly prayer requests in your church bulletins on the designated Sunday, and if possible pray about the need during that same service. We also encourage the entire church to follow the weekly pastor/church prayer schedule of the senior pastor.

Thank you for your prayer support!

December 5

West Portal church plant

Pray for the new church plant being birthed by West Portal Church. Pray for the congregation at West Portal as they adjust to the loss of the people whom they are blessing and sending to be part of this church plant, and also for Andrew and Helen Fehr who will give pastoral leadership to this new work. Please pray for Andrew as he preaches today at Living Hope Church, the sister congregation to this new church plant. His message title is: “The Cost of Following Jesus . . . and of Planting a Church Too!”

December 12

Glieges minster in Blaine Lake

Please pray for Conference Minster Ralph and his wife Grace Gliege as they minister today in the Blaine Lake Gospel Chapel.

Leadership connections

Praise the Lord for excellent contacts that Ralph and other conference leadership have had with a number of church leadership teams. Pray for Ralph and other conference agencies as they meet and give presentations on Tuesday with the Forest Grove Community Church Leadership Team.

December 19

Glieges minister in Canora

Today Conference Minister Ralph and his wife Grace Gliege are at the Gateway Community Church in Canora where Ralph is speaking in the morning worship service and then later on at a church Christmas outreach event. Pray for an effective ministry of encouragement along with a clear presentation of the Gospel.

December 26

“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on His shoulders. And He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end.” (Isaiah 9:6–7a).

Praise the Lord for the wonderful gift of a Saviour!

If you have something that you’d like prayer support for from your fellow member churches of the Saskatchewan Conference, please forward it to the website coordinator.
