Church prayer bulletin
September 2005
Please place the following weekly prayer requests in your church bulletins on the designated Sunday, and if possible pray about the need during that same service. We also encourage the entire church to follow the weekly pastor/church prayer schedule of the senior pastor.
Thank you for your prayer support!

Family members pass away
A number of our pastoral families have recently experienced loss through death. The father to Cliff (Edith) Janzen of Swift Current and the mother to Kathy (Dan) Stobbe of Meadow Lake passed away within the last two weeks. Also, please continue to pray for both the Harms family and the church family at Living Hope Church following the recent passing of their husband, father and pastor – Dwayne Harms.
Bethany begins
Classes at Bethany College begin this coming Wednesday. Please pray for the students as they start classes (especially the freshmen!) and for the new faculty and staff (three faculty, two residence directors and two custodial staff).

Fall kick-off!
Today many churches will “kick off” their fall programs. Pray that the programs in all of our churches will be more than just activities but that lives will be transformed through the various ministries.
Pray for Director of Church Ministries Ralph and his wife Grace Gliege, as they minister in Pierceland today. Pray that their presence and the ministry of God’s Word would touch the heart of that congregation.

Conference ministers meet
Praise the Lord for Partnerships With Purpose. Tomorrow a number of denominational conference ministers meet for the purpose of encouraging each other and sharing resources and ideas. Pray for a continued spirit of unity and love as these conference ministers meet together for this biannual get together in Saskatoon. Our Director of Church Ministries Ralph Gliege is part of this regular gathering.

Faith River charters
Praise the Lord for new churches! Tonight at 6:30 pm is the chartering service for Faith River Christian Fellowship Church in Saskatoon. Pray that this congregation will be a huge blessing and make a great impact as they now meet in their new and permanent location at the corner of Preston Avenue and East Drive.
