Church prayer bulletin
January 2006
Please place the following weekly prayer requests in your church bulletins on the designated Sunday, and if possible pray about the need during that same service. We also encourage the entire church to follow the weekly pastor/church prayer schedule of the senior pastor.
Thank you for your prayer support!

Happy new year!
Perhaps the Lord will return in 2006! Let’s pray and prepare so that we will be ready whenever that day comes.
Ministry in Pierceland
Conference Minister Ralph and his wife Grace Gliege are in Pierceland today. Pray that their ministry will be effective and encouraging to the congregation. Praise the Lord for Ron and Sylvia Hewitt who are giving so much of their “spare” time to pastoral ministry in this congregation. Ron works as a surveyor during the week and then provides excellent leadership in the church on weekends!
January 8
Foam Lake welcomes their new pastor!
Pray for the congregation at Foam Lake as they prepare to welcome a new pastor. Today Conference Minister Ralph Gliege will be addressing the topic of leadership change in his message. Pray that Ralph and Grace will be a blessing to this congregation today.
January 15
SKMB Council of Boards meeting
The SKMB Conference Executive Board and Council of Boards meetings take place in Saskatoon this weekend. Pray for much wisdom as these boards review the past year and then cast vision for the year ahead, all in preparation for the annual Convention coming up in March.
January 22
Foam Lake pastor couple commissioned
Today is an exciting day as the congregation at Foam Lake commissions their new pastor couple, Adam and Erin Lewis. Pray that the Lewis’ ministry over the next number of years will be fruitful and joyful.
Canadian Board of Faith and Life meeting
Pray for the Canadian Board of Faith and Life as they meet in Abbotsford, BC on Wednesday and Thursday. Pray for much wisdom and discernment as this board works through significant theological issues in preparation for the Canadian MB Convention in July. Pray for Menno Martens and Ralph Gliege as they represent our province on this board.
January 29
Conference ministers retreat
SK Conference Minister Ralph and his wife Grace Gliege are in Harrison Hot Springs, BC with the other Canadian Conference ministers and spouses. Pray that this would be a refreshing time of relaxation along with a profitable time of interaction. The retreat, which began yesterday, will conclude tomorrow morning.
