Church prayer bulletin
April 2006
Please place the following weekly prayer requests in your church bulletins on the designated Sunday, and if possible pray about the need during that same service. We also encourage the entire church to follow the weekly pastor/church prayer schedule of the senior pastor.

Excitement @ Borden
Today is an exciting day for Borden MB Church as their pastor, Tony Martens, is being ordained. Pray that this will be a powerful day of ministry affirmation for Tony and Michelle. Please also pray that they will continue to serve at Borden with great joy and a strong commitment to the Lord.
Pastors’ Orientation at Abbotsford
A number of pastors from Saskatchewan will be attending the Pastors’ Orientation in Abbotsford on Thursday and Friday – Bruce Enns, Forest Grove; Adam Lewis, Foam Lake; Clint Hartog, Herbert; and Ralph Gliege. Pray for travel safety, good fellowship and interaction, and a great time of learning.

Passion Week is here
During this Passion Week, pray that our hearts will be stirred with a new appreciation for the amazing work of Christ at Calvary.
Busy @ Bethany
Pray for the faculty, staff and students at Bethany College during this final week of this school year. Pray for a powerful ministry on Friday as the Concert Choir presents The Triumph of the Messiah. Pray for a dynamic “student send off” at the commencement service on Saturday. Pray for God’s sovereign direction in the lives of the graduates.

New challenges and opportunities!
Pray for Pat and Gina Dergousoff who have relocated to Saskatoon. Pat will continue his part time work as Secretary–Treasurer for the Saskatchewan Conference and will also serve in a part time position as Treasurer at Forest Grove Community Church. Pray for their adjustment to this new setting. Also, please pray for Gateway Community Church in Canora as this move creates a huge leadership vacancy in the church.
Blaine Lake needs more room!
Pray for Ralph and Grace Gliege as they minister at Blaine Lake Gospel Chapel today. Praise the Lord for the faithful witness of this church to the community. Also, praise the Lord that they need more facility space and please pray that this will soon be provided.

Pastoral searches
Several churches are in the pastoral search process. Pray that these congregations would be directed to the persons of God’s choice for these pastoral positions.
April 30
Planting seeds
Pray for protection for those involved in agriculture during this busy seeding time. Pray for encouragement, wisdom and provision for the farmers who have experienced many years of difficult economy in the agricultural scene. Please also pray that this season of seeding will remind us that we also need to be busy planting spiritual seeds.
