Church prayer bulletin
June 2006
Please place the following weekly prayer requests in your church bulletins on the designated Sunday, and if possible pray about the need during that same service. We also encourage the entire church to follow the weekly pastor/church prayer schedule of the senior pastor.

A special message from Bethany College
Praise God for how He has worked in our students’ lives this past year! Pray for our students as they find employment in the marketplace this summer or as they serve at camps across the country. Pray that they will effectively model Christ in their lives.
We also want to offer our thanks to you our supporting church families. It is through your prayers, generosity and encouragement that we are heading towards a ten year high in support from you the sponsoring MB churches of Saskatchewan. This is very encouraging! Thank you!
Please pray that our “general donations” goal for alumni and friends of the college is achieved prior to our fiscal year-end of June 30, 2006. Currently we require $143,000 to successfully meet budget. Our annual yearend appeal has been launched and we desire your prayers as we eagerly await what God will do in the next four weeks.
June 4
Diamonds commissioned today
Praise the Lord for the provision of a lead pastor couple for Living Hope Church . . . Joel and Jeannette Diamond! You are invited to pray for them and the Living Hope congregation as the Diamonds are commissioned today.
SK MB Council of Boards meets
The boards of the SK MB Conference meet on Saturday for a Council of Boards meeting. Pray for wisdom and direction so that good decisions will be made and the Kingdom advanced.
June 11
Pray for physical renewal
Please pray for Terry Froese – pastor at Hope Fellowship Church, and Rick Schellenberg – president of Bethany College. Both these men are on extended times of rest this summer for physical renewal. Pray that Terry's voice will be strengthened and restored. Praise the Lord that Rick is experiencing some good renewal in his health. Also, please pray for our whole team of pastors. Pray especially that their bodies and spirits will be refreshed through the summer season of rest and renewal.
June 18
Summer season = Bible camp season
Pray for our Bible camps at Redberry and Westbank. The busy summer season has begun. Pray that many lives will be impacted for Christ throughout this summer. Both camps host their senior adult camps this week – Westbank 55+ Camp from Monday to Wednesday and Redberry’s North of 60 Camp on Saturday. Pray for Conference Minister Ralph Gliege as he speaks at Redberry Camp.
June 25
Waldheim celebrates
Today is a day for celebration at Waldheim as the congregation honours Clarence and Ruth Peters for 15 years of pastoral ministry in this church. Praise the Lord for pastors who serve so faithfully. Pray that this little time to “pause and praise” will encourage the Peters family as they continue on in their ministry at Waldheim.
