Church prayer bulletin

Please place the following weekly prayer requests in your church bulletins on the designated Sunday, and if possible pray about the need during that same service. We also encourage the entire church to follow the weekly pastor/church prayer schedule of the senior pastor.

Leaders head for the Summit
This week, Thursday to Saturday, many leaders will gather in Saskatoon for the Willow Creek Leadership Summit. Praise God for great pastoral leaders such as Bill Hybels. Pray for him as he and his organization seek to influence and encourage leaders in their service for Christ through this conference being aired live by satellite in 17 Canadian cities.

Excitement at Woodrow!
Today is an exciting day for the congregation at Woodrow as their new pastor is commissioned. Pray for Pastor Ross and Ann-Margaret Kennedy and their two children as they adjust to life and ministry at Woodrow.
August 20
Ralph Gliege speaks on baptism
Forest Grove Community Church has been listening to a sermon series based on our MB Confession of Faith. Today, Director of Church Ministries, Ralph Gliege is speaking on the topic of Christian baptism. Pray that the message will encourage people to live resurrected lives in keeping with their baptism and that others will be encouraged to give up their lives in baptism.

Teachers need prayer too!
Where did the summer go? Please pray for teachers and students as they go back to school. Also pray for Sunday school teachers and Christian education directors as they prepare for a new year of teaching in our churches.
