Church prayer bulletin

September 2006

Please place the following weekly prayer requests in your church bulletins on the designated Sunday, and if possible pray about the need during that same service. We also encourage the entire church to follow the weekly pastor/church prayer schedule of the senior pastor.

Commissioning @ Bridgeway

Today Bridgeway Community Church in Swift Current commissions Ben and Jen Kramer as their associate pastor couple. Praise the Lord that the Kramers’ ministry over the summer has already been well received. Pray for an effective ministry, especially with the youth. Please also pray that the commissioning service and message brought by Director of Church Ministries Ralph Gliege has a good impact on this ministry.

Is it “kick off” Sunday @ your church?

Today is fall “kick off” Sunday in many churches across Saskatchewan. Please hold children’s workers and Sunday school teachers up in prayer; that they will be energized and excited to have the opportunity to make life-long spiritual impacts on the earthly and eternal lives of children and adults.

Ministry milestones marked @ West Portal

Thank God for wonderful pastoral leaders in our province. Today is a day of celebration at West Portal Church in Saskatoon as Pastors Kelly and Sandie Wiebe and Terry and Holly Friesen are recognized for their past ten years of ministry at West Portal. Sandy Derksen will also be recognized for 15 years of office ministry. Today would be a good day to thank God for your faithful office staff and to say “thanks” to them too!

Celebration @ Faith River

Today Faith River Christian Fellowship remembers and celebrates one year since they chartered as a church. Praise God for the amazing things He is doing in this congregation. Please continue to uphold the congregation and Pastor Andrew and Helen Fehr in your prayers.
