Please place the following weekly prayer requests in your church bulletins on the designated Sunday, and if possible pray about the need during that same service. We also encourage the entire church to follow the weekly pastor/church prayer schedule of the senior pastor.

Monthly prayer focusWe are asking all our SK Conference churches to light their Harvest Saskatchewan candle the first Sunday of each month and spend time in prayer on the monthly theme during the service. May’s prayer focus is “To ask God to stir our hearts with a passion to reach our communities for Christ.” Also . . . congratulations to Ralph and Grace Gliege on Ralph’s graduation from Briercrest Seminary. He earned a Master of Arts Degree in Leadership and Management and in addition, was awarded the Graduate Proficiency and Excellence Award in Leadership Skills! |

Beechy associate pastor comes home!
Praise the Lord for the provision of a youth/associate pastor at Beechy. Kelly & Lani Wiens are being commissioned to this half-time position today. Kelly grew up in the Beechy church! Pray for God’s rich blessing on them and their six children as they are serve the Lord in the church and in farming.
Surgery Tuesday for Woodrow moderator
Pray for Gord McCaslin, moderator of the Woodrow Gospel Chapel. On Tuesday he will have his right foot amputated due to a rapidly growing benign cartilage tumor in his ankle. Join us as we pray that Gord recovers quickly from surgery and that he will be able to adjust to walking with a prosthesis.

Pastors Credentialing & Orientation
The Canadian MB Conference Pastors’ Credentialing & Orientation begins tonight through Wednesday in Winnipeg. Pastors attending from Saskatchewan are Ross Kennedy from Woodrow and Ben Kramer from Swift Current. Menno Martens will be attending as a Canadian Board of Faith and Life member and Ralph Gliege will join the other conference ministers in attendance. Pray that this extended orientation will enhance the ministries of everyone attending.

Wynyard partnership
Please pray for our continued unique partnership with the Church in Wynyard. Pray that we as a conference together with the surrounding MB congregations at Foam Lake, Lanigan and Watrous will help to strengthen the gospel outreach to the community through this local congregation.
Canadian Conference bfl meetings
Pray for the Canadian Board of Faith and Life meetings taking place in Winnipeg on Friday and Saturday. Pray that this board will have wisdom and joy in discussing issues relating to our faith and life. Menno Martens and Ralph Gliege will be in attendance from Saskatchewan.

Ralph & Grace minister @ their first church
Today Ralph and Grace Gliege are ministering in McCreary, Manitoba in the church where they began ministry in 1971. This Sunday marks the 25th anniversary since the congregation moved into a new building. Ralph spoke at that dedication service. Pray that their presence will not only serve to renew friendships, but that the ministry will serve to renew relationships with the Lord.
Parkland and Gleiges retreat to Madge Lake
This Friday through next Sunday, the Parkland Community Church in Yorkton meets for their Church Retreat at Madge Lake Bible Camp. Pray that this retreat will strengthen this congregation which has experienced significant growth this past year. Pray for Ralph and Grace Gliege as they minister on the theme: “To grow in our love for God, each other and our community”.
