Church prayer bulletin

Please place the following weekly prayer requests in your church bulletins on the designated Sunday, and if possible pray about the need during that same service. We also encourage the entire church to follow the weekly pastor/church prayer schedule of the senior pastor.

Monthly prayer focusWe are asking all our SK Conference churches to light their Harvest Saskatchewan candle the first Sunday of each month and spend time in prayer on the monthly theme during the service. July’s prayer focus is . . . “For a renewed sensitivity to and engagement with the work of the Holy Spirit.” |

Let’s gather @ the candle
The Harvest Saskatchewan Candle serves a dual purpose today. On this Canada Day, the candle serves as a birthday candle but even more importantly, the flame reminds us of the work of the Holy Spirit needed to keep our nation spiritually on fire. Join us, as together, we all pray “for a renewed sensitivity to and engagement with the work of the Holy Spirit.”

SK MB churches + MBMSI = missions @ large!
A number of churches have missions teams serving in a variety of places and circumstances. Thank God for the impact that these teams make as well as the impact upon the lives of individual team members. Pray for teams from Forest Grove Community Church and Herbert MB Church presently serving with MBMS International missionaries in Panama and in Brazil. As well, please pray for the team from Parliament Community Church that will be ministering July 11–25 as part of SOAR Montréal, also with MBMSI.
July 15
SK MB ministry @ Bible camps
Pray for the summer camping ministry at Redberry and West Bank Bible Camps. Pray also for a number of our SK MB pastors and churches involved in camps in other parts of the province. Pray for Pastor Greg Bright from Canora as he directs Ketchen Lake Bible Camp, the Foam Lake congregation involved at Fishing Lake Bible Camp, and the congregation from Meadow Lake in their involvement at Bethel Gospel Camp. Also, Jerry and Liz Dennill would appreciate your prayer support as they direct West Bank Bible Camp this summer and specifically Junior II Camp this week.

Ministry @ Kelstern
Please pray for the congregation at Kelstern Community Church as they continue their pastoral search. Also, please hold Director of Church Ministries Ralph and his wife Grace Gliege up in prayer as they minister at Kelstern today.
July 29
Family Camp @ Redberry
This week we invite you to pray for Wendell and Gwen Andres as they direct Redberry Bible Camp. Family Camp begins today and runs to Thursday.
Transition @ Woodrow
Pray for the congregation at Woodrow Gospel Chapel as they search for a new pastor. Today is the final Sunday of ministry for Pastor Ross and Ann-Margaret Kennedy. Please pray for a good day of ministry, and for God's clear guidance for their future.
