Please place the following weekly prayer requests in your church bulletins on the designated Sunday, and if possible pray about the need during that same service. We also encourage the entire church to follow the weekly pastor/church prayer schedule of the senior pastor.

Monthly prayer focusWe are asking all our SK Conference churches to light their Harvest Saskatchewan candle the first Sunday of each month and spend time in prayer on the monthly theme during the service. The harvest beckons!
On this Thanksgiving weekend, we pause to give thanks for the harvest and we pray for many who still face the urgency of completing the harvest. We also need to pause to give thanks for the spiritual harvest but we must realize that there still is a huge amount of harvesting that remains. Pray for more workers for the harvest (Matthew 9:37-38). Ask God to give you a willingness to do some harvesting for Him.
50th harvest year for West Portal!
Today we also invite you to rejoice with West Portal Church in Saskatoon as they celebrate 50 years of ministry. Praise God for the faithfulness of this congregation that has reaped a good harvest through two church planting endeavors at Living Hope and Faith River.

An attitude of gratitude
Today Herbert MB Church is focusing on giving thanks. Please pray for Director of Church ministries Ralph and his wife Grace Gliege as they minister to this congregation today. Pray also for a corporate renewed spirit of gratitude not only within the Herbert congregation but also within each of our SK Conference churches.
Harvest meetings
Pray for the Harvest Saskatchewan Team as they meet on Wednesday and for the Provincial Executive Board meeting on Saturday. Give thanks and pray for our Moderator, Ron Dyck, who volunteers so much of his own time to ministry within the Saskatchewan and Canadian Conferences.

Who is God preparing??
Pray for the congregations at Kelstern and Woodrow as they continue in their pastoral searches. Pray that God would guide these congregations to the pastors He is preparing for life and ministry within these communities.
Recruiting and challenging @ Bethany College
Pray for Bethany College’s recruitment team as they establish relationships with future students for the 2008–2009 academic year. Please also continue to pray for the students as they are challenged to grow and mature through classes, dorm life and social interactions.

MCC-SK AGM @ BC
Praise God for the work of the Mennonite Central Committee. Pray for clear reporting and wise decision making at the Annual Meeting being held this Friday to Saturday at Bethany College.
Wedding bells in Prairie Winds
This Saturday Pastor Josinaldo Almeida (pastor at Prairie Winds Church in Moose Jaw) and Kathy Bell will be united in marriage. Pray for God’s rich blessing on their marriage, and for Kathy in her new roles as a wife, a mom to Mikhayla, and a partner in ministry with Joe.
