Please place the following weekly prayer requests in your church bulletins on the designated Sunday, and if possible pray about the need during that same service. We also encourage the entire church to follow the weekly pastor/church prayer schedule of the senior pastor.

Monthly prayer focusWe are asking all our SK Conference churches to light their Harvest Saskatchewan candle the first Sunday of each month and spend time in prayer on the monthly theme during the service. Making harvest plans
Please pray for the Harvest Saskatchewan Team as they meet this Wednesday for a very crucial meeting. Pray that they might receive divine guidance for direction, action and budget plans. Please especially pray for Pastor Dwayne Barkman as he leads this team.
Ministry milestone in Hepburn
Praise God for wonderful youth pastors who serve so faithfully throughout this province. Today Hepburn MB Church honours Paul and Jessica Morgun for five years of ministry in that community.

Ministry in small places
Many of our churches are located in small, somewhat isolated communities. Much dedication and hard work is needed to keep the community and the church thriving. Praise the Lord for the congregation at Carrot River as they continue to be a faithful witness in that community. Today Director of Church Ministries Ralph and his wife Grace Gliege are ministering there. Pray that their ministry will be an encouragement to Pastor David and Marianne Grimes and to their congregation.

80 years for Glenbush!
The Glenbush MB congregation has stood with faithfulness and strength for almost 80 years. Pray that this rural community will continue to experience the grace of God through this congregation. Director of Church Ministries Ralph and his wife Grace Gliege are privileged to minister here today. Pray that their ministry will be a blessing to this congregation and to Pastor John and Charlotte Klassen.

The reason for the season!
O Come Let Us Adore Him! As we receive gifts from loved ones this week, pray that our hearts will also be open to receive the love gift of Christ Jesus who came to be our Saviour and who is the reason for the season!

Looking back . . . looking ahead
As we reflect back over the past year may we see how God faithfully walked with us and how at times there was only one set of footprints as He carried us. Then with confidence in His faithfulness, may we face the New Year that lies before us knowing that we don’t walk alone. Pray that 2008 will be a year of significant spiritual harvest.
New light in Wynyard
Continue to pray for Pastor Henry and Esther Penner and the congregation at Wynyard as they seek to bring hope and light to that community.
