Church prayer bulletin

Please place the following weekly prayer requests in your church bulletins on the designated Sunday, and if possible pray about the need during that same service. We also encourage the entire church to follow the weekly pastor/church prayer schedule of the senior pastor.

Monthly prayer focusWe are asking all our SK Conference churches to light their Harvest Saskatchewan candle the first Sunday of each month and spend time in prayer on the monthly theme during the service. February’s prayer focus is . . . “For missional, discipling and multiplying new churches in our province.” |
February 3
Do you see the harvest?
“The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into His harvest field” (Matthew 9:37). Pray that each one of us would see the potential for the harvest and that each of us would feel the responsibility and calling to be workers in God’s harvest field.
Youth Advance from Bethany
Pray for travel safety as young people return home today from Youth Advance at Bethany College. Pray that the spiritual seed that was planted in the hearts of many youth this weekend flourishes and in fact multiplies into a bountiful harvest for the Lord.
February 10
Interns rock!
Praise God for fruitful internships! Pray for Mike Morson, Derek Funk, Josie Kornelson and Ryan Smith as they continue to serve as interns at Forest Grove, West Portal and Hepburn.
From intern to associate!
Rejoice with the congregation at Northwest Community Church in Meadow Lake as they commission Matthew and Robin Roger as associate/youth pastor today. Pray for Matthew as he adjusts from serving as an intern to ministry as an associate pastor.
February 17
Thank God for kids!
Praise God for babies and for many children in our congregations. Remember to pray for the children within our pastoral family. Today Pastor Adam and Erin Lewis from Foam Lake are dedicating their baby daughter, Hannah Olivia, to the Lord. Pray that Hannah will grow up to be an amazing woman of God. Also please pray for God’s blessing on the congregation at Foam Lake . . . that each adult will be a good example for Hannah and the other children to follow.
February 24
Convention coming together
Final preparations are being made for the Provincial MB Convention in March. Pray that God will give direction to those who will share testimonies, stories, songs and messages. Pray that each of our hearts will be prepared to hear and be challenged by what we hear.

Have you ever wished for more hours in a day, or even for an extra day? Your wish is being granted this Friday, February 29! This is leap year!! Pray that we might make good use of the extra day in this month.
