Church prayer bulletin
March 2008
Please place the following weekly prayer requests in your church bulletins on the designated Sunday, and if possible pray about the need during that same service. We also encourage the entire church to follow the weekly pastor/church prayer schedule of the senior pastor.

Monthly prayer focusWe are asking all our SK Conference churches to light their Harvest Saskatchewan candle the first Sunday of each month and spend time in prayer on the monthly theme during the service. March’s prayer focus is . . . “That we would go and make disciples, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey everything Jesus has commanded (Matthew 28:19–20).” |

Harvest candles ablaze!
Today completes the one year cycle of lighting the Harvest Saskatchewan candle on the first Sunday of each month. Pray that we will truly have a Heartbeat For Harvest and that we will just go and DO IT! (Please bring your candles to the SK MB Convention where we will have a special “lighting” ceremony).
Glieges minister to FEBC pastors
Pray for Director of Church Ministries Ralph and his wife Grace Gliege as they minister at the Fellowship of Evangelical Bible Churches Pastoral Retreat this Monday to Wednesday at Dallas Valley Ranch Camp. Pray that these pastors will be refreshed both physically and spiritually, and that they will be encouraged to carry on in ministry.

2008 Convention this weekend!
Please be in prayer for the final preparations for the provincial convention to take place on Friday and Saturday at West Portal Church in Saskatoon. Pray especially for our moderator, Ron Dyck, as he gives leadership to the event. Pray that good and godly decisions will be made and pray for protection and good weather for those who travel.

Prayers for our missionaries
Praise God for those who serve as missionaries with MBMS International. Pray for Trever and Joan Godard serving in Mexico, and for Richard and Hazel Funk serving in Austria and Germany. Both these couples are visiting churches throughout Saskatchewan. Today the Funks are in Waldheim and the Godards are in Hepburn. Pray for special comfort for Richard and Hazel as Hazel’s father passed away a few weeks ago. Praise the Lord that they were able to be present at the time of his death.

He is risen! Hallelujah!
Pray that we will truly “want to know Christ – yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, attaining to the resurrection from the dead” (Philippians 3:10–11).
March 30
Kelstern mortgage burning!
Today we ask you to share in the excitement with Kelstern Community Church as they conduct the “mortgage burning” for their manse. Pray that God would soon provide a pastor to live in this beautiful debt free house and to minister with this wonderful congregation.
