Church prayer bulletin
May 2008
Please place the following weekly prayer requests in your church bulletins on the designated Sunday, and if possible pray about the need during that same service. We also encourage the entire church to follow the weekly pastor/church prayer schedule of the senior pastor.
Thank you for your prayer support!
Monthly prayer focusSeeding always precedes harvest! We are reminded of the season for planting each May in Saskatchewan. Pray this month that we will all be faithful in planting spiritual seeds in order to reap a spiritual harvest. |

Bible camps crank it up
Much spiritual seeding and harvesting takes place at bible camps. Preparations for the summer camps are in full swing at our SK Conference bible camps: West Bank and Redberry. Pray for provision of dedicated staff, receptive campers and faithful supporters. The “Redberry Run Walk Jog” takes place this Saturday. Pray that this will be a wonderful time of fellowship and fundraising.

Mothers . . . it’s your day!
Today we give thanks to God for our mothers and we honour them. What an amazing gift godly mothers are to our families, to the church, and to the world!
Bless our seniors too!
Pray for Ralph and Grace Gliege as they minister at the Forest Grove seniors’ gathering this Thursday. Give thanks for our rich and godly heritage as reflected by the seniors from our MB churches throughout this province.

PCC + NCD = God glorified
Recently Parkland Community Church at Yorkton did a Natural Church Development assessment. Tonight the congregation is meeting to go through those results. Pray for wisdom and direction that the church will be guided and empowered to move ahead so that God would be glorified in the city of Yorkton.
Faith & Life meet
Pray for the provincial Board of Faith and Life as they meet this Thursday in Saskatoon. Thank God for the members of this board who give sacrificially of their time to tend to the doctrinal well being of our churches and denomination.
