Please place the following weekly prayer requests in your church bulletins on the designated Sunday, and if possible pray about the need during that same service. We also encourage the entire church to follow the weekly pastor/church prayer schedule of the senior pastor.

April 5
Woodrow prayer needs
Please pray for the congregation at Woodrow. The surrounding communities recently lost three teen-age girls in a tragic car accident. Pray also for Gord McCaslin, former moderator of the church, as he continues to live in the face of death from cancer, and for the congregation as they seek God’s direction and leading for a pastor.
Next steps for Hope Fellowship
On Wednesday and Thursday the congregation at Hope Fellowship Church in Saskatoon will experience Summit 3 of the Refocusing process. Pray for this congregation as they address questions of implementation at this summit – “designing a ministry model” and “identifying strategic initiatives”.

Our Saviour lives! Pray that we might “know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings” (Philippians 3:10).
April 19
Kelly Wiebe = lead pastor
Today is a day of celebration as the congregation at West Portal Church in Saskatoon commissions Kelly Wiebe as lead pastor! Kelly and his wife Sandie have served faithfully for almost 13 years as associate pastor at West Portal. Thank God for men of character such as Kelly. Pray much for him as he assumes this new role and this great responsibility.
Harvest inspiration
Today director of Harvest Saskatchewan Dwayne Barkman along with representatives from Christian Fellowship Church in Lanigan and Forest Grove Community church in Saskatoon leave to attend the Exponential 2009 National New Church Conference in Orlando, FL. Pray that they would truly experience God’s church planting movement from around the world.
Harvest planning
The SK MB Conference Executive Board meets this Friday. Pray for Moderator Ron Dyck as he gives leadership to this meeting and pray for wisdom and courage for this board to make decisions that will positively impact “the harvest”.

Celebrating 25 years with the Epps
Praise the Lord for our pastors throughout this province. Today we ask you to give thanks for Gerry and Eleanor Epp who have served the Blaine Lake Gospel Chapel for the past 25 years! Celebrate with this congregation as today they recognize the Epp’s faithful and ongoing ministry.
