June 2009
Please place the following weekly prayer requests in your church bulletins on the designated Sunday, and if possible pray about the need during that same service. We also encourage the entire church to follow the weekly pastor/church prayer schedule of the senior pastor.

June 7
Parkland prays for pastoral provision
Pray for the congregation in Yorkton as they carry on in the absence of a pastor but also as they wait for God’s provision of a pastor. Pray that Conference Minister Ralph and his wife Grace Gliege will have a good ministry of encouragement to the congregation today.
Provincial leadership gathers
Pray for the provincial conference Executive Board and Council of Boards as they meet this Friday and Saturday. Pray for wisdom that good decisions might be made. We also ask you to pray for God’s provision as more people are needed to serve on the various boards.

Dedication @ Blaine Lake
Rejoice with the congregation at Blaine Lake as they dedicate the new addition to their church building this afternoon. Thank God for his faithful financial provision for this addition.
The first of many!
Pray for Director of Harvest Saskatchewan Dwayne and his wife Irma Barkman as they facilitate the first Personal ReFocusing Leaders Retreat on Monday and Tuesday in Saskatoon. Pray that the Barkman’s will have wisdom and joy in facilitating this refocusing process for the 12 leaders attending the retreat.
Camp 55+
Pray for Conference Minister Ralph and his wife Grace Gliege as they speak at West Bank Bible Camp’s 55+ Camp this Monday to Wednesday. Pray that God’s Word would speak powerfully to each of those attending.

Celebrating 75 years of ministry!
Today it’s exactly 75 years ago since Bridgeway Community Church in Swift Current organized as a congregation. Pray for an exciting celebration. Clarence Peters, a former associate pastor, will be speaking. Conference Minister Ralph Gliege will bring greetings on behalf of the conference. Pray that God would be honoured.
ReFocusing staff retreat in BC
Pray for Director of Harvest Saskatchewan Dwayne Barkman as he attends the Canadian MB Conference ReFocusing Staff Retreat in British Columbia tomorrow through Wednesday. Pray for a refreshing of body and soul for Dwayne & Irma so they can continue to lead our churches and leaders through the refocusing process.

Celebrating Jeff & Connie
Today Hepburn MB Church celebrates five years of ministry for Pastor Jeff and Connie Peters. Conference Minister Ralph and his wife Grace Gliege will be present to minister God’s Word and to recognize the Peters for their five years of ministry. Pray that Jeff and Connie will be encouraged to continue on at Hepburn. Praise God for their faithful and effective ministry.
