Church prayer bulletin

Please place the following weekly prayer requests in your church bulletins on the designated Sunday, and if possible pray about the need during that same service. We also encourage the entire church to follow the weekly pastor/church prayer schedule of the senior pastor.

26 faithful years of ministry!
Praise the Lord for Pastor Gerry and Eleanor Epp who have served faithfully in Blaine Lake for over 26 years! Pray that God would empower them over these next four months to “finish well”. Pray for the congregation as they search for and then adjust to a new pastor.

Marvelous moms
Praise the Lord for our mothers! Moms, you can and do make a difference – be encouraged with the impact Lois and Eunice made on Timothy (2 Timothy 1:5).
To the glory of God!
Please pray for Director of Church Ministries Ralph and his wife Grace Gliege as they minister at Forest Grove Community Church today. Praise the Lord that they have the joy of being present for the dedication of their grandson. And remember to pray for all our pastoral couples as they seek to raise their children for the glory of God.

Towards a clear vision
On May 18–19 Director of Harvest Saskatchewan Dwayne and his wife Irma Barkman will be meeting with the Northwest Community Church in Meadow Lake for their third ReFocusing summit. Pray for this congregation as it clarifies its vision for the next era.
Clearly seeing the tangible kingdom
Please pray for a pod of seven leaders as they gather on May 20 for their fifth and final session working with the material from the book The Tangible Kingdom. Pray for clarity for each of them as they work through processes of evangelism in a post modern culture.
100 years of God’s goodness
Praise the Lord for his faithfulness in raising up great churches throughout this province. Pray for the congregations at Hepburn, Kelstern and Woodrow as they prepare to celebrate 100 years of God’s goodness.

Pentecost power!
Today is Pentecost! Empowered by the Holy Spirit we are able to be faithful witnesses for Christ. Pray that we might depend upon the leading and empowering of the Holy Spirit.
Directors planning retreat
Pray for our SK Conference Directors Dwayne Barkman and Ralph Gliege as they spend time together on Tuesday and Wednesday in a planning retreat.

Wynyard partnership
Give thanks for the work at Wynyard Gospel Church and for the joy we have in partnering with that ministry. Pray for Steve and Shirley Wiebe as they continue to pastor that congregation.
Harvest Saskatchewan Team looking for workers
Pray for the Harvest Saskatchewan Team as they look for new members to focus the areas of leadership development and church planting. Several people from the team have resigned or moved away and we are looking for people with a passion in these areas.
