February 2012
Please place the following weekly prayer requests in your church bulletins on the designated Sunday, and if possible pray about the need during that same service. We also encourage the entire church to follow the weekly pastor/church prayer schedule of the senior pastor.

February 5
Transitions at Parliament
Today Pastor Phil and his wife Janine Gunther resume their duties as lead pastor couple at Parliament Community Church in Regina following a seven month sabbatical. Praise the Lord for the excellent leadership given by Pastor Brian and his wife Aimee Wiens during this time. Pray that both the congregation and these pastor couples will adjust to the changes and challenges of this transition.
Serving two
Pray for both Riverhurst Church and Prairie Winds Church in Moose Jaw as their pastors sacrificially serve in both locations. Pray for energy and clarity of vision as these congregations reach into the lives of those in each community.
February 12
New lead pastor in Hepburn!
Today is a day of rejoicing at Hepburn MB Church as Rod and Leanne Schellenberg are commissioned as lead pastor couple. Pray that the Schellenbergs will quickly adjust to a new way of living from Vancouver to Hepburn! Above all . . . pray for a fruitful ministry, strength for each day, and joy in the journey.
Bethany intern @ Dalmeny
Pray for Cody Johnson, a Bethany College student who is interning at Dalmeny Community Church from September 2011 to June 2012. Please also pray for Pastor Gary Sawatzky as he coaches and for Cody as he focuses his internship in youth ministry.
Harvest Saskatchewan is partnering with five internships around the province!
February 19
Pray . . . pray . . . pray . . .
The annual convention of the SK Conference of MB Churches is just around the bend on March 9–10, 2012. Pray that this will be an enriching time as we celebrate and reflect upon God’s faithfulness throughout this past year and as we anticipate his abundant goodness in the coming year. Please pray for Pastor Bruce Enns as he prepares the Friday evening address. Please also pray for wisdom for each leadership team in reporting and vision casting. Pray for the congregation at Waldheim as they prepare to host this event.
February 26
The next chapter
Tonight Parkland Community Church in Yorkton is putting on a banquet to celebrate and encourage a renewed missional direction for their congregation. With God as their center, their priority is passionate worship, missional community and wholehearted service. Pray for this congregation as they move out in this exciting and challenging direction.
Blessed @ Blaine Lake
Today Director of Church Ministries Ralph and his wife Grace Gliege have the joy of ministering in Blaine Lake. Pray that God’s Word will both challenge and encourage this congregation. Give thanks for Pastor Kevin and his wife Emily Koop as they give pastoral leadership. Pray for guidance as this congregation prepares to celebrate 100 years in April!
